“Mommy?  What’s an ibby?”  asked Froggett

“Why do you ask?”  answered Mommy

“Because Froggie said me an ibby
and me not know what an ibby is.”  Said Froggett
.
“In that case, your brother is right.”  Said Mommy

“You mean me is an ibby?”  asked Froggett

“I’m afraid so.”  Said Mommy

“Is Froggie an ibby?”  Asked Froggett

“No, your brother is not an ibby.”  Answered Mommy

“Are you an ibby?”  Asked Froggett

“No, I’m not an ibby either.”  Answered Mommy

“Do you know what an ibby is?”  asked Froggett

“Yes, I know what an ibby is.”  Said Mommy with a  little grin

“Is an ibby something bad?”  asked Froggett

“No, an ibby isn’t bad or good.”  Explained Mommy

“Will you tell me what an ibby is?”  asked Froggett

“That’s something you should find
out on your own, but I will give you
a clue.  I was an ibby once, just like you.”  Said Mommy

“You were an ibby?”  asked Froggett surprised

“Yes, I was.”  Said Mommy

“Was Froggie ever an ibby?”  asked Froggett

“Yes, he was too.”  Answered Mommy

“Is Daddy an ibby?”  asked Froggett

“Why don’t you ask him?  He’s in the den.”  Suggested Mommy

“Okay, maybe he will tell me what an ibby is.”  Said Froggett as she hopped into the den and up onto
her Daddy’s lap

“Daddy, are you an ibby?”  asked Froggett

“No, I’m not an ibby.  Why do you ask?”  said Daddy

Because Mommy and Froggie saidme an ibby but they won’t tell
me what an ibby is.  Do youknow what an ibby is?”  asked Froggett

“Yes, I do but I’m afraid I can’t tell you what an ibby is either, but I
can give you a clue.  Anyone can’be an ibby, they just don’t know
they are an ibby.” Said Daddy in a wise voice

“But me know me an ibby and me
still don’t know what an ibby is.”  Said Froggett confused
“Will me always be an ibby?”  asked Froggett sadly

“I don’t think so.” Encouraged Daddy

“How much longer will me be an ibby?”  asked Froggett

“Not much longer.”  Answered Daddy

“How will me know me not an ibby anymore?”  asked Froggett

“You’ll just know.”  Answered Daddy with a little wink

“Were you ever an ibby?”  asked Froggett

“Oh yes.  I was an ibby up until
I was just about your age.”  Said Daddy

“And then you knew you weren’t
an ibby anymore?”  asked Froggett hopefully

“That’s right.”  Said Daddy

“How did you stop being an ibby?”  asked Froggett leaning in for answer

“There is only one way to stop being
an ibby, but you have to figure
that our for yourself.”  Said Daddy

“It’s not fair!  Everyone knows what
an ibby is but me.  Froggie knows what
an ibby is.  Mommy knows what an
ibby is and even you know what an
ibby is but no one will tell me what
an ibby is.  Me wish me knew what an
ibby was so that me can stop being
an ibby.”  Whined Froggett

“Now you’re getting the idea.”  Said Daddy excited

“Me is?”  asked Froggett with a puzzled look

“Everyone, come into the den.
I think she’s figuring it out.”  Shouted Daddy

“Me is?”  asked Froggett more puzzled

“Just think back to all the clues
and the answers to your questions.”  Prompted Daddy

“Remember, all of us were ibbies
once but now we’re not and all of
us know what an ibby is and now
we’re not ibbies anymore but you
are an ibby and you don’t know
what an ibby is.”  Hinted Mommy

“And none of you guys will tell me
what an ibby is so me won’t be an
ibby anymore.”  Pouted Froggett

“You’re getting closer.  You’re
almost not an ibby anymore.”  Encouraged Froggie

“So, me an ibby because me not
know what an ibby is?”  Said Froggett half guessing

“Not anymore because now you
know what an ibby is.”  Said Daddy as he lifted Froggett onto his shoulders

“So an ibby is someone who
doesn’t know what an ibby is
and now that me know what an
an ibby is me not an ibby
anymore”  said Froggett as she and her family danced around the den in celebration

And now that Froggett knows what an ibby is, she is not longer and ibby and neither are you.
Me is not an ibby!
